It's another of learning in college. I was learning about another Grammar in Grammar class. From the vocabulary for Trends which verb that turns into noun;
Verb | Noun
rise | a rise
increase | an increase
and etc.
There's also Degree and Speed vocabulary that concludes Adverb and Adjective;
Adverb | Adjective
dramatically | dramatic
sharply | sharp
and etc.
We moved on to examples of sentences that concludes the vocabulary from earlier;
1. GM car sales increased significantly from $5, 000 to $105, 000 between 1960 and 2010.
2. There was a significant increase of $100, 000 in GM car sales, from $55, 000 to $105, 000, between 1960 and 2010.
3. GM car sales saw a significant growth in GM car sales, from $5, 000 to $105, 000, between 1960 and 2010.
It might seemed like normal sentences but what confused me a lot throughout the learning process was when the lecturer asked about an explanation from each of us. He'd asked, "Which is the subject?", "Which is the Adverb?", "What kind of sentence is that?", "What kind of phrase is that?" and etc. I was unprepared and confused even when he has given us time to comprehend the difference between the sentences with the help of A.I.
I wrote a prompt that lacks of what he has asked me to do. Which was sad, I could have think very openly not just asked the A.I about the simple difference between the each sentences. College surely is different from high school.
